**Job Summary**:
A Maintenance Fitter in a packaging manufacturing company is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery used in the production process. The role involves troubleshooting faults, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently to minimize downtime.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Maintenance & Repairs**:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery such as conveyors, presses, cutters, sealers, and printing machines.
- Diagnose faults in mechanical systems and conduct necessary repairs.
- Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- **Installation & Commissioning**:

- Install and set up new machinery and equipment as per specifications.
- Align, fit, and assemble mechanical parts according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- **Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis**:

- Identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment failures to reduce downtime.
- Work closely with production teams to address recurring issues.
- **Preventive Maintenance**:

- Develop and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for all machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections and servicing to ensure equipment longevity.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Adhere to company safety policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct safety checks on machinery and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- **Record Keeping & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment history.
- Report issues and recommend improvements to enhance machine performance.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults.
- **Reading Blueprints**: Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- **Knowledge of Manufacturing Equipment**: Experience with packaging machinery such as conveyors, wrapping machines, and labeling systems.
- **Safety Awareness**: Understanding of workplace safety regulations and risk assessment.

**Educational & Experience Requirements**:

- **Education**: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Fitting, Maintenance, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing environment (preferably packaging).

**Work Environment**:

- Factory setting with exposure to heavy machinery and industrial noise.
- Requires standing for long hours and working in shifts.
- Might involve occasional lifting of heavy parts and tools.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- ITI (Fitter) (required)
