Position Overview

As a Dialysis Trainer Technician, you’ll instruct and mentor students enrolled in the Diploma or B.Voc in Dialysis Technology courses. Your role bridges clinical dialysis operations with classroom and practical instruction.

Key Responsibilities
- **Theoretical & Practical Training**:

- Plan and deliver lectures on dialysis technology - machine setup, water treatment, dialysate preparation, vascular access, anticoagulation, safety protocols.
- Conduct hands-on lab sessions
- **Student Mentorship & Assessment**:

- Guide students in academic and clinical progression.
- Develop, administer, and evaluate assessments - written exams, practical tests, assignments.
- **Clinical Coordination**:

- Supervise student sessions in real-world clinical environments.
- **Quality & Compliance**:

- Maintain documentation of sessions, student progress, attendance, and evaluations.
- Ensure training complies with regulatory norms and safety standards. Shine

Qualifications & Experience
- **Educational**:

- B.Sc. or Diploma in Dialysis Technology (BDTT), or equivalent. M.Sc. preferred.
- **Experience**:

- 1-3 years clinical and/or academic experience in hemodialysis.

Professional Skills
- Excellent teaching ability (lectures, lab demos, interactive discussions).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with lab equipment, dialysis machines, safety protocols.
- Solid organizational skills: session planning, materials prep, record-keeping.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and MS Office is advantageous.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and student welfare, aligned with institutional standards.
