**Job Summary**:
The CNC Operator cum Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to manufacture parts and tools according to precise specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machinery, technical drawings, and programming languages used in CNC machining.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Programming**:

- Develop and write CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate CNC programming requirements.
- Modify existing programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- **Setup and Operation**:

- Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting fixtures, tooling, and attachments.
- Load and align raw materials and workpieces on the CNC machines.
- Operate CNC machines to perform various machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and solve technical issues.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production output.
- Prepare reports on machine performance, production metrics, and any deviations from specifications.
- **Training and Development**:

- Train and guide junior operators on CNC machine operations and programming techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest CNC technology, tools, and programming techniques.

Required Qualifications:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC machining is preferred.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a CNC Operator and Programmer.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery, programming languages (such as G-code), and CAD/CAM software.
- **Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
