**Location**: Remote (1-2 days/month onsite at any HCL location in India)
**Shift**: 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM IST
**Experience Required**: 4+ years

**Role Overview**

We are looking for an experienced **Snowflake Administrator** to join our team. The role involves managing and optimizing Snowflake in a production environment while leveraging **Azure Cloud services**. You will be responsible for ensuring security, compliance, and performance of Snowflake workloads, along with supporting automation and CI/CD practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer and manage Snowflake environments in production.
- Implement and manage **RBAC, RLS, and CLS policies** to ensure data security.
- Design and optimize Snowflake schemas, queries, and workloads.
- Collaborate with Azure Cloud teams for architecture and integration.
- Automate workflows using **CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps)**.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of Snowflake instances.
- Ensure compliance with **data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks**.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support data platform scalability.

**Required Qualifications**
- **3+ years** of experience administering Snowflake in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of **Azure Cloud services and architecture**.
- Proficiency in **SQL, Snowflake scripting, and data modeling**.
- Hands-on experience with **CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure DevOps)**.
- Proven track record of implementing **RBAC, RLS, and CLS** in Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of **data governance, compliance, and security best practices**.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

**Preferred Skills**
- **Snowflake SnowPro Certification** (highly desirable).
- Azure Administrator or Azure Data Engineer Certification.
- Scripting skills in **Python** or similar languages.
- Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
