Day Care Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in a daycare or classroom setting
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging educational experiences
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare space
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including administering first aid when necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred
- Previous experience working with young students in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and administrators
- Current certification in first aid and CPR preferred
**Skills**:
- Experience working with toddlers and providing age-appropriate care and education
- Knowledge of early childhood education techniques and curriculum development
- Ability to engage students in interactive learning activities
- Strong understanding of child development milestones
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
