Principal Database Architect

**Overview**:
A highly skilled Principal Database Architect to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the charge in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing robust database architectures to power our SaaS platform. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the integrity, security, and scalability of our financial data infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex database architectures for our SaaS platform.
- Ensure data integrity, security, scalability, and performance of our financial data infrastructure.
- Select, evaluate, and implement new database technologies and tools to optimize our data management systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into robust database solutions.
- Develop and maintain data modeling standards and best practices.
- Oversee database performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Stay current on the latest trends and innovations in database technologies and financial data management.
- Mentor and guide junior database engineers.

**Mandatory Skills**:

- MS Sql Server
- Performance Improvements
- Azure SQL
- Worked with multi Tenant or SaaS systems

**Good to Have**:

- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
- Experience with data warehousing and data analytics concepts.

**Who You Are**:

- 14+ years of experience in database architecture and design, with a strong focus on SaaS environments.
- In-depth knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, etc.) is a must.
- Strong understanding of data modelling principles, normalization techniques, and data security best practices.
- Experience with SQL and advanced querying techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passion for building innovative solutions and a strong understanding of the financial services industry.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹5,000,000.00 per year
