Vice Principal

Role Overview

We are looking for a committed and visionary **Vice Principal** to support the Principal in providing academic and administrative leadership. The Vice Principal will oversee **curriculum delivery, faculty management, student discipline, and academic planning**, while ensuring the school’s culture of excellence and holistic education.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the **Principal** in day-to-day school leadership, strategy, and decision-making.
- Supervise **teaching staff**: mentoring, training, performance reviews, and lesson planning oversight.
- Lead **curriculum implementation** as per CISCE (ICSE/ISC) requirements.
- Coordinate **academic programs, examinations, and results analysis**.
- Monitor **student discipline, attendance, and well-being** in collaboration with teachers and hostel wardens.
- Build strong **parent engagement and communication systems**.
- Support **teacher recruitment, orientation, and professional development**.
- Ensure **compliance with CISCE norms**, inspections, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with the Administrator on **operations, budgeting, and school events**.
- Step in as Acting Principal during absences.

**Qualifications**:

- **Master’s degree** in Education/Science/Arts/Management (B.Ed mandatory).
- Minimum **8-10 years of teaching experience** with at least **3-5 years in leadership/coordination** (Vice Principal, Head of Department, or similar).
- Strong **knowledge of ICSE/ISC curriculum** and academic management.
- Excellent **leadership, communication, and organizational** skills.
- Fluent in **English** (spoken & written); **basic Kannada or Telugu** preferred for local coordination.
- Experience in **faculty training, school inspections, and academic audits**.
- Exposure to **residential school systems** is a strong plus.
