ABOUT US:

THE POSITION:
As a Data Platform Architect, your job will be to envision and create a modern data platform at Phable. The expectation is that the Data Platform becomes the central data repository which fulfills the needs of individual stakeholders as well as the leadership team. It will need to comply with privacy and governance requirements while being accessible to relevant stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Architect, design, development and delivery of an enterprise grade Modern Data Platform which can enable BI, AIML solutions and modern
- Enable Data Privacy, Data Lineage, Data Governance, Data Observability, Data Catalog as per current requirements and making it future ready.
- Create data pipelines from various data sources and maintain them on regular basis
- Helping business realise the potential of Data Platform
- Influencing and supporting project delivery through involvement in project/sprint planning
- Understand Phable’s healthcare offerings and stakeholders and recommend ways to generate relevant data and/or cleanse existing data to help build AI based solutions.
- Be a mentor to Data Engineers and help grow the team as required
- Contribute to day to day activities within Data Platform team

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Around 10+ years of total experience in the Data Platform/Data Engineering/Data Platform Architect role.
- Able to articulate what a Modern Data Stack looks like.
- Has worked on/understands systems like Data Catalog, Data Governance, Data Observability
- Ability to understand raw data (internal and external) and build meaningful data pipelines with it.
- Knowledge of data management and visualization software and techniques
- Knowledge of AI/ML tech-stack from at least one of the major cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure
- Excellent scripting and programming skills with language such as Python, PySpark, Scala
- Expert with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferably)
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop/Hive/Spark/BigQuery/Presto/Dremio.
- Experience building API layer in front of the Data Platform for stakeholder integrations
- Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and at ease working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience building/operating a very large data warehouse/data lake/data lakehouse.
- Solid communication skills and team player.
- Strong technical and leadership skills
- A passion for technology. We are looking for someone who is keen to leverage their existing skills while trying new approaches

EDUCATION:

- Engineering Degree from Tier1 colleges with a specialization in Computer Science or Masters with major in Statistics or Mathematics
- Relevant Certifications

BONUS SKILLS:

- Prior experience setting up Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse at enterprise scale
- Experience with Events Analytics Platforms like MixPanel, Moengage, Segments
