**Experience with Oracle DB migrations or upgrades for large databases
- Comfortable working on Tools/methods used for migrations/upgrades?
- Experience in database cloning
- Working knowledge of XTTS (Transportable tablespace)
- Conceptual Knowledge of ODA, Exadata and Goldengate
- Knowledge to accept/modify/update tickets using ITSM tools like Service now
- Working Knowledge of Oracle enterprise manager
- Experience/knowledge of pre-checks/analysis before performing database migrations/upgrades?
- Knowledge of reports to be generated as part of our migration/upgrade to give that confidence to clients?
- Experience in Config Oracle Dataguard in single mode and cluster?
- Experience on Backup strategy/plan for the database in case of roll-back?
- Knowledge of advantages of data pump utility over RMAN backup?
- Resolve log gap in standby?
- Manage and monitor installations, upgrades and patching of Oracle RDBMS using Oracle-provided tools and utility.
- Knowledge of optimization techniques to be applied if we are experiencing performance issues after upgrade/migration?
- Experience in Performance tuning
- Post-steps to be performed after migrations/upgrades?
- Comfortable working on RAC Env?
- Experience in upgrading/migrating RAC databases?
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication, understating of ITIL and IT security Processes in the corporate environment
