**Job Title**: Gas Manifold In-Charge
**Location**: Tagore Medical College and Hospital

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate, monitor, and maintain all medical gas manifold systems and pipelines across the hospital.
- Ensure timely switching and replacement of gas cylinders and liquid oxygen tanks.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of gas manifolds and related equipment.
- Maintain logs of gas consumption, cylinder movements, and pressure levels.
- Coordinate with vendors for gas supply, maintenance, and emergency requirements.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards, medical gas regulations, and applicable norms (e.g., NABH guidelines).
- Train and supervise support staff and ensure proper safety practices are followed.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
- Maintain inventory of gas cylinders and initiate purchase requisitions when required.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum **5 years of experience** in a similar role within a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of **medical gas pipeline systems (MGPS)**, safety protocols, and manifold operations.
- Technical diploma or certification in mechanical/electrical/biomedical engineering is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand system diagrams and pressure gauges.
- Familiarity with healthcare safety standards and statutory compliance.
