General Physician

**JOB TITLE: GENERAL PHYSICIAN**

**Educational Qualification: MBBS**

**Experience: Min. 2-3 yrs. preferred**

**Location: Trichy**

**Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5/6 days per week**

**Salary: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Complete Physical assessment for newly admitted clients and for the clients whose name is documented in the sick register
- Record the findings in the clients’ file and inform the nursing team to follow up on the same.
- Recommend investigations based on the need.
- Prescribe medications as per the medications available in the Banyan Pharmacy. Medications which are non-available in our pharmacy can be outsourced if it is essential.
- Lab reports should be checked and signed and recommend treatment plan.
- Clients with Metabolic Disorders should be evaluated on a monthly or quarterly basis depends upon the condition.
- Track the progress of the health of the clients who have accessed multi-specialty department.
- Cross check medications administration.
- Ensure emergency medications are available in each floor.
- Request for special medications
- Ensure basic medical equipment are available for consultation.
- Conduct Health Education (minimum 1/month)
- Track effectiveness of the special diet served for diabetes, anemia, hypoalbuminemia, underweight, Immuno-compromised conditions.
- Daily go on rounds to all the floors and do the bedside reviews.
- Ensure wards and floors are maintained neat and clean
- Check Sick register.
- Meet or speak to the specialist and discuss the progress of the client’s health during hospitalization
- Report to the Head of the Nursing Department and Director
- Check the hygiene of the client and house.
- Evaluate physical health issues and prescribe medications as per the need.
- Recommend non-pharmacological interventions.
- Train the health care workers, nurses and the mental health professionals on early detection of medical problems
- Train on Seasonal Diseases.
