**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver engaging lectures and lead discussions in undergraduate English courses
- Develop course materials, syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards
- Conduct internal assessments, design exam papers, and evaluate answer scripts
- Supervise students in academic projects, presentations, and extracurricular literary activities
- Undertake scholarly research and contribute to peer-reviewed publications
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and institutional events
- Mentor students in academic and career development
- Stay updated with trends in English language, literature, and pedagogy
- Perform additional academic and administrative tasks as assigned by the HOD/Principal

**Qualifications**

**Essential**
- Master’s Degree in English (M.A.)
- NET qualification or Ph.D. (preferred) as per UGC norms

**Desirable**
- Ph.D. in English or a related discipline
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate level
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency with digital teaching tools and LMS platforms

**Remuneration**
