**Senior Testing Engineer (Automation)**

**Job brief**

**Roles and responsibilities**
- Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data.
- Carry out testing as per the defined procedures.
- Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures.
- Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out.
- Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
- Generate traceability matrices all the way from user stories or business requirements to automated testcases

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in **Java** or Python or any other Object-Oriented Language.
- Understanding of the **Testing/QA concepts** i.e. **test cases, defects, requirement traceability matrix.**:

- Good knowledge of **Core Java with Rest-Assured / Rest API / Selenium WebDriver.**:

- Experience of **WebServices**, **Microservices** (RESTful, SOAP), Angular Web UI Testing
- Good knowledge in Backend Databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Define, develop, maintain, report and execute manual / automation tests for basic, regression, load & performance related.
- Familiarity with various tools - JMeter, Selenium, Selenium Web driver, JIRA, Shell scripting(Unix), python
- Ability to design and develop test automation frameworks
- Experience working in an Agile environment

**Mandatory skills**:

- Good coding skills.
- Excellent computer fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional testing skills. Provide good attention to details.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
