Profile: Factory Medical officer

Qualification: MBBS AIFH

Doctor Experience: Should be 2-3 Years after AFIH

**Salary**: Upto 150,000/- per month A factory medical officer has many responsibilities, including:

- Medical examinations: Performing pre-employment and periodic health check-ups
- Emergency care: Managing medical emergencies in the workplace
- Health education: Providing health education and counseling to employees
- Health and safety policies: Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
- Hazard monitoring: Monitoring workplace hazards such as heat stress, noise, dust, and illumination
- Occupational Health Centre: Managing the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) and conducting regular audits
- Medicine: Managing medicine at the OHC and maintaining and distributing medicine as prescribed by doctors
- Health risk assessments: Organizing health risk assessments
- Hygiene inspections: Conducting hygiene inspections
- Liaison: Liaising with local hospitals and doctors, and industrial health governmental agencies
- Awareness campaigns: Conducting awareness campaigns on health and first aid
- Occupational health surveys: Conducting occupational health surveys
- Medical policy reimbursement: Implementing medical policy reimbursement

Pay: ₹110,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Factory Medical Officer: 2 years (preferred)
