**Job Title**: Production Quality Supervisor

**Summary**:
The Production Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating quality control activities within the production environment. They ensure that products meet established quality standards and specifications, driving continuous improvement in quality processes. This role involves managing a team of quality control inspectors or technicians, implementing quality procedures, and working closely with production teams to address quality issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise Quality Control Team**: Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate quality control inspectors or technicians. Schedule their work and ensure adequate coverage for all production shifts.
- **Implement Quality Plans**: Execute quality control plans and procedures, ensuring adherence to company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9001).
- **Monitor Production Processes**: Regularly monitor production processes to identify potential quality issues early and implement corrective actions.
- **Perform Quality Inspections**: Conduct inspections of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to verify conformance to specifications.
- **Data Analysis**: Collect and analyze quality data, identifying trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement. Generate reports on quality performance metrics.
- **Problem Solving**: Lead or participate in problem-solving teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- **Non-Conforming Material**: Manage the process for handling non-conforming materials, including quarantine, rework, or scrap.
- **Calibration and Maintenance**: Oversee the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Champion continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, including lean manufacturing principles and other quality methodologies.
- **Training**: Provide training to production personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
- **Communication**: Communicate quality issues and improvement initiatives to management and other relevant departments.
- **Safety**: Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the quality control area.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is preferred. An associate's degree with relevant experience may be considered.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
