- IBDP ENGLISH TEACHER**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced IBDP English Teacher to deliver engaging, student-centered instruction aligned with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The teacher will foster critical thinking, creativity, and academic excellence while supporting students’ holistic development.**Key Responsibilities**:
Deliver high-quality IBDP English (Language A) instruction-
Plan and deliver lessons based on IB curriculum and assessment standards-
Prepare students for all IB English components, including HL Essay and Individual Oral-
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs-
Provide regular feedback, assess student progress, and maintain academic records-
Support students with Extended Essays and other interdisciplinary IB components-
Participate in collaborative planning, moderation, and school events-
Uphold IB philosophy, values, and academic honesty practices-
Contribute to co-curricular and school development activities-
Engage in continuous professional learning and IB training**Qualifications and Experience**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in English, Literature, or related field-
Valid teaching certification (B.Ed., PGCE, etc.)-
Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in an IB World School-
IB Category 1 or 2 training (preferred)**Key Skills and Attributes**:
Excellent classroom management and communication skills-
Familiarity with IB learner profile and assessment methodology-
Adaptability, student focus, and commitment to professional growth-
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment
