The Fitter will be responsible for the mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair of amusement park rides, attractions, and equipment. This role ensures that all mechanical systems are safe, functional, and comply with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and fit mechanical parts of rides and equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections of rides and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults in equipment.
- Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and adjustment of components.
- Work with welders, electricians, and technicians for maintenance tasks.
- Maintain records of repairs, servicing, and maintenance schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with park safety standards.
- Respond quickly to mechanical breakdowns or ride stoppages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance area.
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- ITI/Diploma in Fitting or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in an amusement or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of tools, safety standards, and fitting techniques.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and maintenance manuals.
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with amusement rides or large mechanical equipment.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
