**Job Description for UI/UX Design Studio Video Editor**

**Location**: Gurgaon

As a Video Editor in our dynamic team, you'll play a crucial role in translating our design projects into engaging and visually captivating product promo videos, marketing materials, reels, and showcases.

**Responsibilities**:

- Craft visually compelling product promo videos, marketing videos, reels, and showcases that align with our design studio's vision and branding.
- Collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams to understand project objectives and requirements, ensuring that the videos meet our clients' needs.
- Review provided scripts and raw footage to develop a clear plan for video composition, making decisions on shot selection and sequencing to maintain a cohesive narrative and visual consistency.
- Trim and arrange video segments to create seamless and engaging sequences that captivate the audience.
- Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall impact and storytelling of our videos.
- Create both rough cuts for feedback and final polished cuts that meet our high-quality standards.
- Maintain logical sequencing and ensure smooth transitions in the videos.
- Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production process, incorporating their feedback to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest editing technologies and industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our video editing capabilities.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video editing abilities.
- Proficiency in digital technology and expertise in video editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci and Final Cut.
- Thorough understanding of timing, pacing, motivation, and visual continuity to create engaging narratives.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D elements, and compositing to add visual flair to our videos.
- A creative mindset with strong storytelling skills, allowing you to bring our design concepts to life through video.
- A degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field is a plus.
