As a Journalist Intern, you will work closely with experienced journalists and editors to gain practical experience in the field of journalism. You will assist in researching, writing, and reporting news stories while learning the fundamentals of journalistic practices. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the industry and help you develop essential skills for a career in journalism.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in journalism, mass communication, or a related field (recent graduates preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent command of language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Basic knowledge of journalistic principles and ethics.
- Proficiency in conducting research and fact-checking information.
- Familiarity with digital tools, social media platforms, and online research.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated passion for news, current affairs, and storytelling.
- Flexibility to work on assigned tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Portfolio or writing samples (if available) demonstrating your writing abilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in conducting research and gathering information for news stories.
- Attend press conferences, events, and interviews with reporters.
- Help in writing and editing news articles, feature stories, and other journalistic content.
- Fact-check information and ensure accuracy and credibility of sources.
- Collaborate with journalists, editors, and photographers to develop news stories.
- Follow journalistic ethics and guidelines to maintain professional standards.
- Utilize digital tools and social media platforms for research, promotion, and engagement.
- Monitor current events and stay updated with news trends and developments.
- Assist in transcribing interviews and organizing relevant information.
- Contribute ideas for news stories and pitch story angles to editors.
- Support the team in administrative tasks, such as organizing files and maintaining databases.
- Learn and adapt to different writing styles and formats depending on the media outlet.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: From ₹7,000.00 per month
