**Roles & Responsibilities of a Captain**:
**1. Guest Service Excellence**
- Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth.
- Present menus, explain dishes and recommend specials or pairings.
- Take and confirm orders accurately.
- Ensure guests are comfortable and satisfied throughout their dining experience.
- Handle special requests or dietary requirements professionally.
**2. Supervision of Service Staff**
- Supervise waiters, busboys, and runners during service.
- Assign stations and tasks to team members.
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service staff.
**3. Table Management**
- Manage table settings, reservations, and seating plans.
- Oversee table arrangements, cutlery placement, and cleanliness.
- Ensure proper service sequence and etiquette is followed.
**4. Order Management**
- Relay orders to the kitchen/bar and ensure timely service.
- Double-check orders for accuracy before serving.
- Handle complaints or issues regarding food, service, or delays.
**5. Billing & Cash Handling**
- Present checks and handle payment transactions.
- Ensure bills are accurate and processed through POS systems.
- Maintain records of sales and cash if required.
**6. Coordination with Other Departments**
- Liaise with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping for guest needs.
- Inform the chef or kitchen team about special orders or guest preferences.
**7. Training & Development**
- Train new servers and junior staff on service standards.
- Monitor performance and help maintain consistency in service quality.
**8. Maintaining Cleanliness and Standards**
- Ensure dining area and service stations are clean and organized.
- Check that hygiene and safety protocols are strictly followed.
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹19,500.00 per month
