**Job Description for Piping Designer**
- Independently work CADworx and other CAD platform for the 2D design and detail engineering Piping discipline.
- Develop the 3D modelling and piping layout and should be able to work independently.
- Performs a permanent check on compliance with the layout rules specific to piping design (distance between runs, position of welds and openings)
- Develops the design and drafting of complex piping drawings given basic information such as P&ID's, GA's, piping specifications, equipment arrangement drawings.
- Prepare material take-offs including pipe, fittings, valves, to support various cost estimates as required by the project
- Coordinate with Piping Engineering Team and other design disciplines to resolve issues
- Develop piping models including studies and layouts
- Create piping transpositions and manual material take-offs
- Reviewing vendor and in-house coordination drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Able to extract reports from the modeling software
- Review and check bill of material reports extracted from models
- Assist in checking when required
- Develop the tender engineering drawings in short time with quality.
- Confirm the engineering is developed, taken into consideration the complete information and all inter discipline checks has been conducted, the results are documented in the project specific storage area.
- Solves the cad issues that appear during engineering development.
- Focus on cost-efficient system solutions.
- Report and keep records for all engineering changes. Cooperate with the engineering team and agree on the project specific impacts, caused by the changes.
- Creates work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility.
- Prepare MTO and other Bill of material for procurement.
- Safety
- Provide input for close out report and lessons learned, and follow/review lessons learned for next projects.
- Performs a permanent check on compliance with the layout rules specific to piping design (distance between runs, position of welds and openings)

**Experience, Education and Other**:

- FEED and Detailed Design Experience with EPC Contractor or with Design consultancy.
- BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Associate or Technical degree in a CAD related field.
- Sound knowledge on AutoCAD tools, CADworx, Naviswork and other 3D and 2D softwares.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in design and drafting with AutoCAD expertise.
- Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations such as API, ASTM, ASME B31.3.
- Knowledge of pipe stress analysis programs such as Caesar, AutoPipe, ADLpipe

- Monday to Friday ( 5 days)

**Requirements**:
5 years Middle east experience is must.

Site experience and working in brown field is must.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
