**Objective**:
To assess incoming patients promptly, categorize them based on the urgency of their condition, and ensure timely medical intervention.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Initial Patient Assessment**:

- Conduct quick evaluations to determine the severity of the patient's condition using established triage protocols (e.g., ESI, CTAS).
- **Priority Categorization**:
Assign triage levels (e.g., critical, urgent, non-urgent) to facilitate timely treatment and optimize resource utilization.
- **Coordination with Emergency Team**:
Communicate patient status clearly to emergency room staff, nurses, and specialists for appropriate response.Monitor and document vital signs and clinical parameters during triage.Ensure that patients are directed to appropriate departments based on triage assessment (e.g., ICU, casualty, outpatient).Maintain accurate triage records and update them as needed for legal and clinical review.Follow and enforce infection control practices, especially during outbreaks or pandemics.

1.MBBS with any state registration
