Amazing Associate Accessibility Tester

We are looking for a dynamic associate accessibility tester who has a need to learn and an eye for detail to make digital technology inclusive for people with disabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Create Test Strategy and Test Plan
- Perform testing across both web and mobile apps to ensure Accessibility compliance
- Conduct manual and automated testing using tools like ANDI, Wave
- Understanding how people with disabilities use assistive technologies
- Conduct assistive technology testing with screen readers, magnifiers, speech recognition like JAWS, NVDA, Talkback, Voiceover
- Document bugs with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, user impact, WCAG checkpoint and code recommendations
- Perform quality checks
- Effectively managing time as per the project plan
- Ability to work independently within a quickly changing technological environment

Qualifications required: Graduation in BSc IT/BCA/MCA or B.E is preferable.

Must have/Mandate skills include:

- Must have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience on Web Accessibility
- DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester and/or WAS certification preferred
- Hands-on experience of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Should have knowledge of WCAG 2.0/2.1 & ARIA
- Experience using Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools
- Hands-on experience of using screen readers like JAWS, NVDA, Talkback & VoiceOver
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
- Should have excellent presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
