**Objectives of this Role**:

- To lead the design, development, implementation and innovation for XR team of unity developers & 3D modelers, under TEC (Technical Expertise Centre) India umbrella.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement and maintain technical architecture for all XR, 3D modelling, BIM projects, propositions.
- Creating 3D visualization prototypes for Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality.
- Define right approach of Scan to BIM modelling and support the designers.
- Be part of the development process and contribute in design, reviews, driving the quality of the code.
- Define best practices and ensure implementation of those - maintainable, modular, reusable code, adhering to relevant security standards
- Demonstrate thought leadership innovation for XR solutions taking into account synergy with Blockchain & AI-ML
- Collaboration with other Tech streams, architecture practices, customers
- Interaction with customer/ end users in order to fully understand requirement, feedbacks
- Transform design specification into functional game assets
- Identify and proactively manage technical and business decisions, risks, actions and opportunities.
- Maintain an active understanding of relevant hardware and software market leaders, Stay current on latest features and practices of XR & 3D design space
- establish an effective strategy and development pipeline
- Contribute in pre-sales, customer POC / Pilot development activity, internal & external networking, branding through webinars, conferences etc.
- Mentor and act as a role model for team, contribute in trainings and team development

**Skills**:

- 10+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Solution Architect role and good understanding of reference architecture
- 2+ years of experience in 3D modelling and animations, 2D design and texturing
- Proficient in BIM, Good understanding of Point cloud data processing and relevant CAD tools recap, Revit.
- Technical knowledge in working of 3D modeling & texturing (3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Flash, Photoshop, substance painter) and ability to manipulate 3D geometry, Strong 3D math skills
- Proficiency with Unity/Unreal packages, systems and workflows (Addressable, URP, DOTS) its interoperability with IOT.
- Experience in working with game assets (meshes, animations, materials etc.), profiling & optimizing game and render performance (GPU and CPU)
- Experience in working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure etc.
- Excellent knowledge of OOPs concepts, design patterns and Data-Oriented design and scripting.
- Working knowledge of REACT, JavaScript, Python, C++, C#.
- Knowledge of Scrum/Agile development framework, Development CI/CD pipeline, Git, JIRA
- Good understanding of XR use cases, benefits and challenges, Passion for design and innovation
- Good understanding of Web 3.0, Blockchain, AI & ML and their roles in XR
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Understanding UX design process and experience working with UX design team and/or development team

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, IT or equivalent
- Master’s degree is preferred
