Principle Enterprise Architect

Role Purpose

In the role, you will be accountable for governing the People Tech capability, defining and leading strategy, creating end-to-end solutions on assigned projects working with Solution Architects, documenting the solution in a Solution Architecture Document and taking the solution through the LSEG governance processes. The role will also provide ongoing architectural guidance to multiple projects through their lifecycle.

Key relationships & committees

Strong relationships with broader Corporate Technology team, other Technology teams covering security, networking, End User Compute and Cloud and business stakeholders in corporate business functions e.g. Identity Access Management, CRM Tech, Finance, Facilities, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities
- Work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to provide solutions to drive the groups customer Relationship Management strategies.
- Leading all architects workining within the capability are collaborating with designers & tech lead to define the end-to-end solution & design covering all involved systems, data, integration, security and non-functional requirements.
- Lead the definitions of target and transitional architectures and the roadmaps to achieve the target architecture. Ensure all architects within the capability
- the governance processes agreed with CT Architecture Team - adherence to defined principles, policies, technology, information and process standards.
- Manage relationships with the leadership of the People Tech Capability to influence the adoption of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, standards and policies.
- Maximise relationships with vendors, regulators and industry bodies to seek and adopt industry standard methodologies in enterprise architecture and technology strategy
- Act as a trusted advisor and leader across the wider LSEG Technology.
- To be the lead architect who works with other architects to define the end-to-end solution & design covering all involved systems, data, integration, security and non-functional requirements. Ensure architecture documentation including Solution Architecture Document, Data Flow Diagram, Integrated Architecture diagram etc Corporate Technology and enterprise solution standards, align with the overall roadmap, have good quality documentation, and
- all relevant governance steps
- Review solutions individually with key non-functional stakeholders e.g. Security, Privacy etc
- Present solutions in various forums (like Design Integrity Forum, Architecture Committee, Architecture Review Board) and with different teams like Security, Privacy.
- Ensure the proposed solution aligns with the business outcome Ensures all solutions Corporate Technology and enterprise solution standards, align with the overall roadmap, have good quality documentation, and
- all relevant governance steps.

Critical deliverables
- Deliver an effective architecture covering People Technology Capability that complements the overall Corporate Technology Architecture and the central architecture strategy. All Solution Architecture deliverables for the domain are delivered in a timely manner, to a high standard and
- appropriate governance with 100% audit trail
- Implement Corporate Technology aligned domain based Governance Functions that feed into the Corporate Technology Architecture Review Board framework whilst enabling agile and rapid delivery of technology in line with business goals, risk and control appetite.
- Support the implementation of an architectural strategy for Corporate Technology that enables transparent and action-orientated collaboration across all of CT, in order to provide clear and quick decisions to downstream teams.
- A fully articulated Solution Architecture Document that includes
- Details on end-to-end solution from a conceptual, logical and physical level.\
- N.B. The role holder will be Accountable for delivering this document but is expected to work with Subject Matter Experts to complete sections outside the role holder's expertise.
- Gathering approvals for the solution architecture through the LSEG Governance processes

Impact
- This role sets the technology direction of the overall project and therefore can influence cost and timelines to the assigned projects.
