**Job Description**:
The Paralegal for Europe/MAIR serves as the key paralegal for all Transactions Team functions for the Legal Department pertaining to Europe and MAIR.

**Job-Specific Tasks and Duties**

**_Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:_**
- Perform paralegal duties with a focus on support of fast-paced, high-volume commercial practice needs, which may include drafting of standard documents, reviewing and revising customer documents, and client discussions, which are often _ad hoc_ in nature and arise on short notice through in-person collaboration and integration with sales, account management, and executive leadership
- Coordinate and supervise signings, notarizations, legalizations, apostilles and other document execution functions, including obtaining wet signatures on-site from executives, and arranging transmission by courier or electronically, often on short or same-day notice, working with regional leadership based in LHR and DXB
- Serve as initial intake for routine legal queries for Europe and MAIR (including, for example, related to nondisclosure agreements, customer questionnaires, and bid responses)
- Lead collection and tracking of all contracts data for quarterly Enterprise Risk Management reporting presented to the Board of Directors
- Develop, implement, and oversee law office management projects
- Evaluate and process contract review requests; exercise independent judgment to identify and coordinate timely responses.
- Evaluate and process invoices from outside legal services providers and create related reporting
- Develop and maintain files, organize file documents, and maintain status reports on files (including, for example, by maintaining records in the contract lifecycle management system)
- Monitor all manner of deadlines affecting the regional legal team
- Serve as primary point of contact on standard document requests and NDA reviews for Europe and MAIR
- Exercise sound discretion to evaluate and escalate matters to attorneys as appropriate
- Provide document support related to drafting and redlining a variety of customer-facing commercial documents, including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, technical quality agreements, statements of work, standard operating procedures, etc.
- Act as primary support for the attorneys in entity corporate maintenance tasks, including coordinating the execution of required documents and communicating with country controllers and senior executives as needed, often on short notice
- Work with attorneys and outside counsel in support of litigation management and filing of court documents
- Act as liaison among internal teams in the Legal Department, and other departments within the company (for example, by fielding regular inquiries from sales, accounting, and operations personnel and referring them to other contacts within the Legal Department)
- Assist in managing third-party contract support vendor, including reviewing service levels and invoices submitted for payment
- Provide general paralegal support to Legal Department attorneys as needed
- Provide project management support as needed
- Provide backup support to administrative team members

- Tech-savvy with experience in records and database management and a proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products in performing a variety of computer-based tasks: creating and maintaining spreadsheets, preparing presentations, creating/formatting documents, maintaining calendars, tracking deadlines
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology quickly and help train lawyers in the adoption of such technology
