**Job Summary**:
The Dietitian will direct the operation of all the kitchens and dining rooms in the hospital to provide nutritious, well-prepared food for patients and staff. The Dietitian will also develop diet as appropriate for patients according to their medical needs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Ø Assess nutritional needs and develop customized diet plans for patients/clients.
Ø Provide counseling on diet, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.
Ø Monitor the effectiveness of nutrition plans and adjust as needed.
Ø Responsible for ensuring high quality food preparation and timely service to maintain client/ patients satisfaction and uphold operational standards.
Ø Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Ø Stay current with the latest nutritional science and guidelines. Consult with physicians and consultants to assess the nutritional needs and diet restrictions of clients.
Ø Coordinates all dietary activities in the facility, acting through the food service supervisors and dietary technicians.
Ø Supervises the development of specialized diets using appropriate dietary modifications where necessary; supervises menu planning for special functions.
Ø Surveys food preparation and distribution for safe practices ensuring variety, adequate seasoning, visual appeal, proper temperature, and appropriate portion sizes.
Ø Testing and reporting of the food.
Ø Counsels patients, families, and staff about requirements; handles complaints and resolves problems.
Ø Cleaning and maintaining checklist of canteen.
Ø Plan deep cleaning and fumigation, Rodenticide treatment and maintain documents for the same.
Ø Follow all NABH Guideline for canteen services Diet & in Documentation.
Ø Plan to make hospital digital in this department.
Ø Follow instruction of Medical Superintendent Admin & Operation.
Pay: ₹10,292.27 - ₹32,725.68 per month
