Role Summary

Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Testing:

- Going through 3GPP standards, architectural and design documents to come up with thorough and in-depth test plans for testing a Policy Control Function (PCF).
- Plan and execute end-to-end system testing for the 5G Core Network Function - Policy Control Function (PCF).
- Design and implement test cases to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

2. Kubernetes Integration:

- Leverage Kubernetes for the deployment and orchestration of 5G core network services.
- Ensure the seamless interaction between 5G components and Kubernetes infrastructure.

3. Automation and Continuous Testing:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools compatible with Kubernetes environments.
- Implement continuous testing strategies within the CI/CD pipeline, utilizing Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks.

4. Defect Tracking and Documentation:

- Identify and report defects, track issues to resolution, and verify bug fixes.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports with a specific focus on Kubernetes-related configurations.
- Document and communicate testing results to relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and virtualized network functions.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and other container orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation in Kubernetes environments.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a Kubernetes ecosystem.
