Job Title:
**Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual and Automation)**
Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with software developers and product owners to understand the product requirements and design test cases to validate the functionality of the software products-
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript- Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report any issues or defects found during the testing process- Manage test environments and ensure that they are properly configured for testing purposes- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software products are delivered on time and meet the quality standards- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews- Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions to improve the testing process- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to testing and automation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance testing, preferably in an IT firm- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies- Experience in both manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress- Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and collaboration skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
