An Ophthalmologist is a medical doctor specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of eye diseases and visual disorders.

Their key responsibilities include

:Comprehensive Eye Examinations: Conduct thorough assessments of the visual system to identify the nature and extent of ocular disorders.

Surgical Procedures: Perform various ophthalmic surgeries, such as cataract removal, glaucoma surgeries, refractive surgeries, corneal transplants, and oculoplastic surgeries. Diagnosis and Treatment

: Identify and manage eye diseases and injuries, including conditions affecting the cornea, sclera, conjunctiva, and eyelids.

Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret results of diagnostic or clinical tests to inform treatment plans.

Postoperative Care: Provide or direct postoperative care, ensuring proper healing and monitoring for complications.

Patient Education: Educate patients about maintaining and promoting healthy vision, including the use of corrective lenses and preventive measures.

Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals to provide optimal patient care. Instruction and Training: Instruct interns, residents, or other medical professionals in ophthalmologic procedures and techniques.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per month
