**About Atria University**

**Job title**:Energy Sciences Faculty

**Role and the Objective**

We are looking for a teaching faculty whose primarily role will be to develop and teach courses for undergraduate students majoring in Energy Sciences. Atria University’s Energy Sciences program aspires to train clean energy technology professionals who will play a critical role in electricity sector decarbonisation and climate mitigation efforts underway nationally and globally. The thrust areas of the Energy Sciences programs are renewable energy technologies, energy storage, material science for energy systems and storage, energy data analytics, and energy policy, business and entrepreneurship, and regulation. The Energy Sciences program is a distinctive interdisciplinary major combining basic sciences, computational skills, engineering, design, technology, entrepreneurship, and policy. Our goal is to train students who will have core technical expertise in energy sciences and engineering besides a broad exposure to the business, entrepreneurship, and policy landscape of energy systems.

**Expected Experience**
- Experimental and lab experience in energy instrumentation technologies and power systems (solar photovoltaics).
- Areas of Expertise in two or more of the following: Computational and simulation tools for energy sciences and engineering, Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Grid Integration of Renewables, Power Electronics and Controls, Solar Thermal and Photovoltaics Systems, Wind Power Systems.

**Compensation**

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

**Salary**: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
