**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of PostgreSQL and Oracle Golden Gate databases.
- Ensure database systems are secure reliable and perform optimally.
- Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning measures.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for database configurations processes and procedures.
- Implement and manage database replication and data integration solutions.
- Conduct regular database audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations with mínimal downtime.
- Automate routine database tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical database systems.

**Qualifications**
- Possess strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle Golden Gate.
- Have a solid understanding of database security and performance tuning.
- Demonstrate experience in database backup and recovery strategies.
- Show proficiency in database replication and data integration solutions.
- Exhibit excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Have a track record of successfully managing database upgrades and migrations.
- Be familiar with automation tools and scripting languages.
