Surat Gujarat, India MECHTECH ENGINEERING Full time

To supervise, coordinate, and control production activities to ensure timely output, quality standards, and optimal utilization of resources in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities1. Production Management**
- Supervise daily production activities on the shop floor or plant line.
- Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
- Allocate manpower and resources efficiently based on the production schedule.

**2. Quality Control**
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and process specifications.
- Conduct in-process inspections and coordinate with the QA/QC team for non-conformities.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent rework and rejection.

**3. Team Leadership**
- Lead, train, and motivate production workers/operators/technicians.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and team performance.
- Conduct shift handovers and daily briefing/toolbox meetings.

**4. Process Improvement**
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements in production workflow.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, TPM).
- Support maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

**5. Safety and Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards (PPE, emergency protocols, etc.).
- Report any incidents, unsafe practices, or equipment issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the shop floor.

**6. Reporting and Documentation**
- Maintain daily production logs, shift reports, and machine utilization records.
- Coordinate with planning, maintenance, stores, and quality departments.
- Provide input for inventory, raw material consumption, and productivity metrics.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Technical knowledge of machinery, production lines, and processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / SOPs
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and report generation
- Familiarity with ISO/OSHA standards is a plus

**Educational Qualifications**
- Diploma or B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- ITI with extensive experience may be considered for certain industries

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
