Nutrigenomics Counsellor

**Responsibilities**:

- Thorough understanding of nutrigenomics in the nutrition counseling setting
- Needs to have knowledge about both genome structures and nutrients in foods
- Reads a person’s genetic chart and after analyzing it advises him on a diet plan that is tailored to his specific needs
- Assess clients’ nutritional and health needs
- Counsel clients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits
- Develop meal and nutrition plans based on metabolism preferences from genomic data
- Evaluate and monitor the effects of nutrition plans and practices and make changes as needed
- Promote healthy lifestyles by speaking to groups about diet, nutrition, and the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases
- Create educational materials about healthy food choices and lifestyle
- Keep up with or contribute to the latest food and nutritional science research
- Document clients’ progress in tune with genomic data and relevant predictions.

Requirement
- M.Sc., PGDM in Nutrition, Clinical Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, Food & Nutrition, Genomics, Nutrigenomics, Food & Dietetics, etc.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in working in the food and diet industry.
- Basic understanding of genetics and genomics and how it affects metabolism and health.
- A team collaborator and a hard-working individual.
- Ability to perform under strict deadlines.
- Client-facing job experience is preferred.

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Powai, Mumbai - 400076, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Master's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- in working in the food and diet industry.: 2 years (preferred)
