**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Big Data Architect to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient big data solutions, ensuring the success of our data initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
Big Data Architecture Design:

- Develop comprehensive big data architecture solutions that align with business objectives and support data-driven decision-making.
- Design and implement scalable and robust data pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Technology Expertise:

- Proficient in Hadoop ecosystem technologies, such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, and Spark.
- Hands-on experience with Data Bricks and other related technologies for efficient data processing and analytics.

Data Migrations:

- Lead and oversee data migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to modern big data platforms.
- Develop strategies for efficient data transfer and transformation, minimizing downtime and data integrity risks.

Data Governance and Standards:

- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of the data architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for data management.

Performance Optimization:

- Identify opportunities for performance improvement in data processing and storage, implementing optimizations to enhance overall system efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Big Data Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem, Data Bricks, and related technologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing data migration strategies.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and their big data services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cloudera, Databricks).
- Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
