**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities:Academic & Instructional Responsibilities**:

- Teach English Language and Literature to senior secondary classes in accordance with the prescribed curriculum (e.g., CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- Design comprehensive and engaging lesson plans that develop language skills - reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Explain and analyze literary texts including prose, poetry, and drama using various teaching techniques.
- Encourage appreciation of literature and help students explore themes, literary devices, and authorial intent.

**Assessment & Student Progress**:

- Prepare and conduct regular tests, assignments, and internal assessments in alignment with board standards.
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide personalized feedback for improvement.
- Prepare students for board examinations, competitive language tests, and English Olympiads.
- Maintain detailed records of student academic progress and learning outcomes.

**Student Development**:

- Foster critical thinking, articulation, and effective communication through debates, essay writing, group discussions, and creative writing tasks.
- Mentor students in developing academic writing, public speaking, and literary appreciation.
- Encourage students to participate in school publications, literary clubs, drama, and elocution competitions.

**Professional Engagement**:

- Participate in departmental planning and curriculum development.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school functions.
- Engage in regular professional development through workshops, webinars, and internal training.
- Collaborate with peers to create interdisciplinary learning experiences and project-based activities.

**Administrative & Co-curricular Involvement**:

- Assist in organizing literary fests, English exhibitions, and inter-house competitions.
- Take responsibility for classroom discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Contribute to school magazines, newsletters, and bulletin boards with student work and literary pieces.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
