**KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To carry out plant safety inspection and to observe physical condition, work practices and procedures followed by workers and render advise for removing unsafe conditions & unsafe acts by employees.
- Issuing confined space entry / hot work permits and follow up for strict compliance of permit system.
- Maintaining hydrant system and sprinkler system in operation condition and maintain records.
- Maintenance to be carried out as per schedule for all safety appliances.
- Taking round of plant and observing unsafe condition and unsafe act and ensure its compliance.
- Training to contract employees
- To organize calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment and ensure their fitness for use.
- To keep a track / records of departmental activities.
- Keeping all safety equipment’s in working condition
- Pollution prevention and waste minimization program, managing and organizing safe disposal of hazardous waste.
- Experience in ETP,RO,MEE and ATFD must.
