Gis Trainee

**Description**

**The ENS services team at Burns** & McDonnell India is building a team to support the US offices.The work that the ENS team supports includes air quality services, remediation services, natural & cultural resources.

Burns & McDonnell India (BMI) Environmental Services Division is looking for a well-rounded and driven engineer/specialist who will be part of our growing Environmental Studies team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the development, analysis, and management of geospatial data.
- Support GIS data development, data maintenance, and data preparation for various projects.
- Utilize ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to create maps, perform spatial analysis, and manage data.
- Assist with GIS data creation, and mapping for the engineering and surveying departments while supporting both internal and external project teams.
- Assist with developing Survey web maps on ArcGIS Online to be used in mobile apps like Field Maps and Survey123.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet client requirements and deliver high-quality GIS services.
- Assist with quality control of GIS data and deliverables.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geography, Environmental Science, or a closely related natural science field. A master's degree in a similar field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of GIS principles and concepts.
- Experience with ArcGIS Desktop 10.1 or higher; experience with ArcGIS Pro is preferable over ArcMap.
- Basic knowledge of ArcGIS Online.
- Demonstrated GIS skills, including data analysis abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
