Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- **Counseling and Guidance**: Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions (in-person, phone, or virtual) with prospective students to understand their career aspirations, educational background, and training needs.
- **Program Expertise**: Provide detailed and accurate information about our IT courses, certifications, curriculum, fees, schedules, and placement assistance.
- **Lead Management**: Effectively manage and nurture leads generated through various channels (online inquiries, referrals, marketing events, etc.) to meet enrollment targets.
- **Relationship Building**: Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with students and parents (where applicable) throughout the enrollment journey.
- **Market Feedback**: Collect and relay market and competitor feedback to the management and marketing teams to help refine program offerings and strategies.
- **Reporting**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all counseling activities, admissions data, and enrollment statistics using the company's CRM system.

Required Qualifications
- **Experience**: Minimum of **3 years** of proven experience in an **Education Counselor, Career Counselor, or Admissions** role, preferably within the education, training, or IT industry.
- **Education**: A Bachelor's degree in any field. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- **Industry Knowledge**: A basic understanding of the **IT/Technology training landscape** and common career paths (e.g., Software Development, Data Science, Cybersecurity) is highly desirable.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in **English and Malayalam** (required for the Cochin market) with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- **Sales Acumen**: Demonstrated ability to achieve enrollment targets and meet sales goals.
- **Software Proficiency**: Proficient in using **Microsoft Office Suite** and experience with a **Customer Relationship Management (CRM)** system.
- **Goal-Oriented**: A self-starter with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
- **Empathy and Patience**: Ability to listen actively and address the concerns of prospective students with patience and professionalism.
- **Organizational Skills**: Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle a large volume of inquiries and tasks efficiently.
- **Team Player**: Ability to collaborate effectively with the marketing, academic, and placement teams.
