Data Warehouse Etl Expert for ERP Data Integration

**Company Description**
Our client is a top-tier enterprise client in the commercial doors and electronic access control arena.

They are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse ETL Expert for a one-off, part-time project.
- Load data into the SQL Data Warehouse from Sedona Office and Connectwise MSP Software, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data.
- Maintain the existing structure of the SQL Data Warehouse while integrating new data.
- Perform data mapping from source systems to target tables within the data warehouse, such as FactRevenue.
- Utilize SQL queries and API calls to identify and extract the correct data sources from ERP systems.
- Create detailed mapping instructions, including queries and API call instructions, that align with existing data warehouse structures.
- Quality assures the results from end-to-end, extending to Power BI datasets, and provides remediation instructions or explains limitations to the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) team.
- Collaborate with ETL developers and the FPA team for guidance and validation of data integration processes

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in SQL, data warehouse, data analysis, ETL processes, and working with ERP systems.
- Specific experience with Sedona Office and/or Connectwise ERP systems data structure and available APIs.
- Strong T-SQL, SSIS, and ETL development skills.
- Capability to work with API integration and ability to call/test APIs with tools like Postman.
- Ability to query databases directly and via API calls.
- Familiarity with business process concepts and data transformation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to consult with the ETL team for 3-4 hours a day and respond to the FPA team during normal Eastern US business hours.
- Willingness to engage with offshore teams during specified overlap hours.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to participate in scenario-based interviews.

**Nice to have**:

- Comfortable asking pointed questions to understand business processes and systems.
- Able to explain their work clearly and participate in unscheduled walkthroughs of their deliverables at short notice.
