Principal Architect for Retail Space

**Overview**: As a Principal Architect specializing in the retail space, you will play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing the implementation of architectural solutions tailored to the unique needs and challenges of the retail industry. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and commercially viable spaces that enhance the overall shopping experience while aligning with business objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Architectural Design**: Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of retail spaces, considering factors such as traffic flow, customer experience, branding, and operational efficiency.
- **Client Collaboration**: Work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, brand identity, and business goals, translating them into innovative architectural solutions that drive customer engagement and loyalty.
- **Team Leadership**: Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to architectural teams, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to creativity, productivity, and professional growth.
- **Project Management**: Oversee all phases of retail architectural projects, from initial planning and design through construction and implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- **Code Compliance**: Stay abreast of relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards to ensure that retail spaces meet all legal and safety requirements.
- **Technology Integration**: Explore opportunities for integrating cutting-edge technologies, such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and smart systems, into retail designs to enhance the shopping experience and optimize operational efficiency.
- **Sustainability**: Champion sustainable design practices and materials selection to minimize environmental impact and promote energy efficiency in retail construction and operation.
- **Vendor Management**: Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that meet project specifications while staying within budgetary constraints.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure that architectural designs are being implemented accurately and according to specifications, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in retail architecture, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and enhance the value proposition of architectural services.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in architectural design, with a focus on retail or commercial projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful retail architecture projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to retail architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
