**Role description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design & Architecture**
- Design and implement **scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant** database architectures in AWS for PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Architect **cloud-native** database solutions ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, security, and scalability.
- **Data Migration & Continuity**
- Lead data migration strategies from on-premises to cloud or between cloud platforms with mínimal downtime.
- Develop and implement **high availability (HA)** and **disaster recovery (DR)** solutions for cloud-based databases.
- **Performance & Optimization**
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize queries, and design efficient indexing and schema structures.
- **Security & Compliance**
- Design and enforce robust **security frameworks** across all platforms, including encryption, access control, and auditing.
- Ensure solutions meet **regulatory compliance** and integrate security best practices in cloud database environments.
- **Automation & Monitoring**
- Automate routine database management tasks using **cloud-native and third-party tools**.
- Implement proactive **monitoring and ing systems** to maintain database health and availability.
- **Collaboration & Integration**
