Psychologist

**Role and Responsibilities**

The objective of the job is to be able to take care of crisis situations, comfort levels, and various

health and psychological support of our patients.

The role is:

- To counsel: (IP basis)
- Pre and post operative patients when requested,
- Those in CCU, ICU’s and other clinical wards, and patients who are referred by

other personnel.
- Bereavement.
- To identify and manage psychological, emotional, behavioral, or interpersonal issues

like: (OP- basis)
- Lifestyle habits
- Stress;
- Anger;
- Domestic violence/abuse;
- Relationship / family difficulties;
- Sexual abuse, etc.
- Emotional trauma
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Behavioral issues etc
- Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes.
- Help patients face stress of undergoing health conditions.
- Help patients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational, and

vocational development and adjustment.
- Monitor patient progress through regular meetings or sessions

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

I work with diverse client groups, including children, adults, families, couples and groups.

The work can vary depending on the setting and the patients, but may include:

- undertaking assessments, including assessment of mental health needs, risk assessment

and psychometric testing;
- formulating a psychological explanation of the patients’ issues;
- establishing a collaborative working relationship with the patient based on trust and

respect;
- writing reports and record-keeping;
- continuing personal and professional development (CPD);
- undertaking research, either individually or as part of the team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
