**Job Description (J.D.) for SAT Faculty**

**Position Title**: SAT Faculty
**Department**: Education / Test Preparation
**Location**: Lajpat Nagar New Delhi-110024
**Reports To**: Director of the Organization.
**Employment Type**: Freelancer.

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Teaching & Instruction**:

- Deliver comprehensive lessons in all sections of the SAT exam, including Reading, Writing, and Math (and optional Subject Tests, if applicable).
- Use diverse teaching methods and materials to ensure all students are engaged and able to grasp complex concepts.
- Provide clear explanations and offer strategies for improving test-taking performance.
- Create customized lesson plans tailored to student needs and learning styles.
- Maintain an organized, structured, and focused classroom environment, both in-person and virtually (if applicable).

**Student Assessment & Feedback**:

- Administer practice tests, quizzes, and assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Review and analyze test results to identify areas of improvement.
- Provide constructive, actionable feedback on students' strengths and weaknesses.
- Offer guidance on time management, test strategies, and anxiety reduction techniques.

**Academic Support & Mentoring**:

- Hold office hours or tutoring sessions to offer additional support outside regular class times.
- Mentor students on study habits, test preparation strategies, and other academic concerns.
- Encourage student motivation and perseverance to achieve optimal SAT scores.
- Provide advice on college admissions and post-exam strategies.

**Curriculum Development**:

- Contribute to the development and refinement of SAT course curriculum and materials.
- Stay updated on the latest changes and updates to the SAT format and test strategies.
- Ensure all teaching materials are accurate, effective, and aligned with SAT exam content.

**Performance Monitoring**:

- Track and monitor individual student progress, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Document student attendance, progress, and participation.
- Provide regular reports on student performance to management.

**Collaboration & Professional Development**:

- Work closely with other instructors, staff, and management to ensure smooth coordination of the program.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and educational conferences to keep up with best practices.
- Share insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.

**Qualifications**:
**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Strong understanding of the SAT exam format and the content areas covered (Reading, Writing & Language, and Math).
- Prior experience in SAT tutoring or teaching is highly preferred.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong command of SAT-related content and test strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different student learning styles.
- Proficiency with educational tools, technology, and online platforms (for virtual teaching, if applicable).
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple students and tasks simultaneously.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience teaching or tutoring high school students for SAT preparation.
- A track record of helping students achieve improved SAT scores.
- Experience in developing curriculum and teaching materials for SAT preparation.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
