Elearning Instructional Designer

**Role**:
**Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of this position include storyboarding, designing, producing, and managing an extensive range of creative assets such as illustrations, graphics, and stylishly designed interactive videos and assessments. The instructional designer will work on the end-to-end eLearning process from storyboarding and production to publishing as lessons through Simplify Healthcare’s learning management system.
- Work with the Product teams to review, develop, and implement changes to our core training courses and programs for clients and employees.
- Research for course content: sources, reports, articles, statistics, and citations.
- Update and/or create content in PPTs, Word, Excel, PDF, SCORM, and other course-authored tools, as well as referencing.
- Administration and management of relevant software systems, including LMS, course-authoring tools, and video production.
- Maintenance and version control of all related learning materials, processes, and guidelines.
- Research, analyze, and implement various measures that contribute to quality learning outcomes, customer experience, and continuous improvement.
- Working closely with the project manager to publish lessons and assessments on the LMS.
- Work closely with the Video Producers to produce digital content that is compliant with our document development, style, and branding guidelines to ensure consistency across all content published through the LMS.
- Review existing course materials, learner and tutor guides, readings, and supporting documentation for continual improvement.

**Technical Competencies**:

- Relevant qualification in instructional design, content creation, or visual communication or relevant field and/or with 5+ years’ relevant experience developing eLearning videos, preferably with IT sector. Must have demonstrated experience in assessment mapping and assessment validation. Bloom’s Taxonomy Model, Kirkpatrick Model, ADDIE, and Agile Methodology.
- Demonstrated instructional design experience and with a strong skillset using current eLearning technologies and approaches to design and build quality eLearning content and courses.
- Ability to understand basic project management approaches, including incorporation of peripheral eLearning activity deliverables such as graphic design, simulators, audio/video production and other content production, assisting to liaise and track progress against plans and completion of deliverables.
- Experience using data insights to identify priorities that will inform the development of strategic roadmaps and operational plans is desired.
- Exposure to video creation and editing would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS would also be advantageous.
