Carpenter

**Job Summary**:
The Carpenter is responsible for performing all carpentry and woodwork tasks within the hotel premises, including repair, maintenance, fabrication, and installation of wooden furniture, doors, windows, partitions, and other fixtures. The role ensures all wooden work is maintained to high-quality standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of all wooden furniture, fittings, and fixtures within guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
- Repair and refinish furniture, doors, windows, flooring, and wall panels as required.
- Fabricate and install new wooden structures, partitions, and cabinetry according to specifications.
- Assist in renovation, remodeling, and construction projects within the hotel premises.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop area in safe and working condition.
- Ensure all work complies with hotel standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain a daily logbook of work completed and report any major repairs needed.
- Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests when assigned.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum 2-5 years of carpentry experience (preferably in hospitality or facility maintenance).
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, machines, and finishing materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
- Team player with a professional and service-oriented attitude.

**Education**:

- ITI / Diploma in Carpentry or equivalent technical qualification preferred.

**Work Schedule**:

- Full-time; shift-based depending on hotel operations.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
