- Follow all traffic laws, signs, and signals.
- Drive defensively and remain attentive and focused.
- Ensure the vehicle has enough fuel for the trip.
- Respect other road users, including pedestrians and cyclists.
- Never drive under the influence of alcohol.

Vehicle maintenance
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintenance checks.
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks like checking oil, tire pressure, and other fluids.
- Keep the vehicle's exterior and interior clean and presentable.
- Inform management of any mechanical issues promptly.

Transportation and logistics
- Safely transport people or goods to their destinations efficiently and on time.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using GPS and knowledge of the area.
- Load and unload cargo or baggage, ensuring safe handling and secure storage.
- Assist passengers as needed, such as opening doors.

Administration and communication
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Keep required documentation, such as logs or delivery reports, up to date.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, or clients regarding delivery status or issues.
- Collect payments and provide receipts when necessary.
