The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel engines used in marine vessels. This role ensures that all mechanical systems operate efficiently and comply with industry regulations and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and overhauling of diesel engines, generators, and auxiliary systems.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in diesel propulsion systems and recommend appropriate solutions.

Conduct inspections, testing, and performance assessments of engines and related components.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to carry out repairs and modifications.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry best practices.

Work closely with engineers, welders, electricians, and other shipbuilding professionals to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.

Operate and test engine performance using diagnostic tools and software.

Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics and apprentices.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
Diploma or certification in Diesel Mechanics

Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
