**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and execution of scientific programs, ensuring that they are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and priorities.
- Manage a team, providing guidance and support to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research opportunities, and to ensure that scientific findings are integrated into product development plans.
- Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to incorporate them into the company.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry leaders, and represent the company at conferences and events.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and manage the preparation of documentation required for regulatory submissions.

**Qualifications**:

- PhD in a scientific discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or pharmacology.
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries, with a track record of success in developing and launching products.
- Experience managing a team of scientists and researchers.
- Strong knowledge of scientific research methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and manage projects to completion.
