**Job Title**: Early Years Programme (EYP) Coordinator
**Location**: OWIS Whitefield, Bangalore
**Department**: Academics
**Reports To**: Principal / Head of School
**Role Overview**:
The EYP Coordinator at OWIS Whitefield will lead and manage the Early Years Programme in alignment with the IB PYP framework. The role involves academic leadership, curriculum planning, teacher mentoring, and ensuring a nurturing, inquiry-driven environment for young learners.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Academic Leadership**:
- Implement and oversee the Early Years curriculum in line with IB PYP standards.
- Guide teachers in delivering inquiry-based, play-centered learning experiences.
- Monitor teaching practices, assessments, and documentation.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality learning outcomes.
- **Team Management**:
- Mentor, support, and coach Early Years teachers.
- Conduct collaborative planning sessions and professional development workshops.
- Build a strong, motivated EYP teaching team.
- **Student Well-being & Development**:
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support diverse learning needs and promote social-emotional development.
- **Parent & Community Engagement**:
- Communicate curriculum goals, student progress, and classroom practices with parents.
- Conduct orientations, workshops, and parent-child events.
- Strengthen home-school partnerships.
- **Administrative & Compliance**:
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of EYP teachers.
- Ensure adherence to IB standards, OWIS policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with leadership on school improvement initiatives.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Master’s / Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field.
- Minimum **5-7 years of Early Years teaching experience**, with **2+ years in a leadership/coordination role**.
- Prior IB PYP experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
